In the fourth quarter, Suominen’s net sales increased by 3% from the comparison period to €118.5 million ($124.8 million). Sales volumes decreased slightly from the comparison period, but the company was able to improve the sales prices and the product mix. Currencies impacted net sales negatively by €0.3 million ($0.3 million).

Net sales of the Americas business area amounted to €72.7 million ($76.6 million) and net sales of the EMEA business area to €45.8 million ($48.2 million).

In 2024, Suominen’s net sales increased by 2.5% from the comparison period to €462.3 million ($486.9 million). The increase in sales was driven by higher sales volumes offset by lower sales prices resulting from lower raw material prices. Currencies impacted net sales negatively by €1.8 million ($1.9 million).

Net sales of Americas business area were €287.9 million ($303.2 million) and net sales of EMEA business area were €174.4 million ($183.7 million).
